The Roadmap portal gives users a public view of product progress. It is connected to Posts: roadmap cards are feedback posts grouped by their current status. When your team changes a post status in the dashboard, that post moves to the matching roadmap column.

Public roadmap view

The public roadmap is a board-style view grouped by status, such as Backlog, Planned, and In Progress. Public roadmap board view Each card can show:
  • Vote count
  • Board name
  • Priority
  • Due date
  • Post title
Users can scan the roadmap to understand what your team is considering, planning, and actively building.
Roadmap items are posts. To change where an item appears, update the post status from the dashboard.

Filter the roadmap

Users can filter the public roadmap to find relevant items faster. Public roadmap filter menu Available public filters include:
  • Keywords: Search by text.
  • Board: Limit results to a specific feedback board.
  • Priority: Focus on items by priority.
Use clear titles, board names, priorities, and due dates so the roadmap is easy for users to understand at a glance.

How users interact with roadmap items

Roadmap cards link back to the related post. From the post detail page, users can:
  • Read the full request
  • Vote on the item
  • Comment or reply
  • See status, priority, tags, and due date
  • Follow discussion from your team
This keeps roadmap communication connected to the original feedback thread.

Public roadmap best practices

  • Keep statuses current so the public roadmap reflects real progress.
  • Use due dates only when timing is reliable enough to share.
  • Keep titles concise and user-facing.
  • Add comments when an item changes direction or timing.
  • Close or complete stale items instead of leaving them in planned states indefinitely.

Roadmap Management

Manage roadmap cards from the dashboard by updating post status, priority, owner, and due date.
